Hi everyone. I thought you might enjoy receiving these messages. We invite missionaries to share their experiences where they feel The Lord guiding or blessing them or experience miracles. They text them to me and I forward them to all the zone leaders who send them out to their zones. Here are the ones I sent out tonight.
A day of miracles Elders and Sisters. After talking to everyone we possibly could on a nice rainy day in Perm our companionships together recieved 36 Ammon Indicators over our splits. The Lord will place people into our path or vice versa when we open our mouths and show Him we will do His work. We love you all. -Пермь. (Perm)
(An "Ammon indicator" is what we call it when they meet a new person, have a good conversation and the person wants to meet with them and gives their number so they can call them.)
As we were walking the streets we stopped a man to ask him if he knew english. As we got talking he told us he had already met Mormon missionaries. We then spent the next hour walking around telling him about the book of mormon. This man is so elect, he is an english teacher and has for the past 15 years of his life been studying religion. Elders wilks and beckstead
After making a goal to be more bold, we got TWO new investigators today who want to learn more about God's plan and how to strengthen their families! Like we've heard before: RUSSIA IS THE NEXT BRAZIL! -Chely sisters
As we were walking down the street after a lesson today, we stopped to ask a woman about her Russia hat. She was very excited to talk to us and thanks to a surprise rainstorm we were able to give her a Book of Mormon and testify about God's plan as we waited for the storm to pass. Sisters in Ufa.
Miracle, After continually stopping by to a potential for the last two transfers, and sharing with her the Plan of Salvation pamphlet, today she decided she wanted to take the lessons to better understand the plan God has for her. Elders Moeller and Young
Today we committed our wonderful investigator to a baptismal date on the 21 of may. Its been wonderful to see her grow in faith and light. We are grateful we got to be tools in the Lords hands ))) ekat sisters
MIRACLE! After accidentally throwing away a potential's number and digging through the trash for it, we set up a meeting with a young girl. As we talked about religion and family relationships she started to cry and told us that she wants to raise her kids in a more loving environment than she was raised in. She said that she just wants to find her place. We testified that God loves her and she asked to learn more about our church. Love the Surgut District :)
So those are the ones I just sent out. Dad and I are in Surgut and just finished a wonderful fireside with members and missionaries.
My hip is improving every day. I'm still using a cane but have much less pain. When I went to bed Monday night I was hurting so bad I just couldn't imagine how I was going to be able to come on this 6 day trip. I really thought I might have to send Dad by himself. I had a very hard night and didn't sleep much because of the pain. When I prayed Tuesday morning, I remembered President Eyring's words as he called me to be a companion to my husband and I thought, well that is pretty hard to do if I'm not even going to be with him for six days. I told the Lord I was going to go and I would just trust that He would help me. From that moment I began to feel a little better. I was able to get packed up and ready. Dad bought me a cane which is easier to maneuver than the crutches. We arrived at out hotel in Surgut about midnight. I had a great sleep and feel better today than I have for a week. Thank you for your prayers!!
Love you all
