Day 1: Lots of accidents and tons of success. Car potty during carpool pickup and Fieldhouse potty during basketball practice. Luckily I didn't have many places to go yesterday and Joshua thought the toddler size toilet and sink were really cool.
For any of you who think it is strange that I'm sharing this, you should know that potty training is where I am clueless as a parent. You may remember the 2 year potty training debacle of 2009-2011? I'm not exaggerating. It took over 2 years to train our number 2 child. However, Tyler was potty trained in about 3 days. And Lizzy did pretty well after a week but only because Grandma was here and created prize bags and a sticker chart for her. And we all know that everything is more fun to do with Grandma around. So I guess what I'm saying is go ahead and laugh but could you also send me any good potty training advice? I have a couple appointments today and tomorrow and Chris will have Joshua at home. Good luck! :) I will definitely be hurrying home as quick as I can after those appointments. NOT! :)

sarah.... you're awesome. I refused to even leave the house for the first 3 days in fear of having a major melt down somewhere. I think you're on the right track... Leave Chris alone with him as long as you can... don't come back until he's done. :)
ReplyDeleteJefferson has done surprisingly well.. I don't think I did anything, I think I just got lucky. I am in no position to offer advice.....:)xoxo
