Another great week

Dear family,

We have had a busy and very productive week. Dad called two counselors, we had a nice dinner at the mission home with them and their wives and dad set them apart. It will be a relief to have their help with the management of the branches.

Our shipment arrived, hurray! We got most of it put away, many of the pictures hung and some of the suits steamed out for dad. It is so nice to have more wardrobe choices! Everything arrived and was in good condition. Our favorite thing is all the family pictures and scrapbooks. Our missionaries are poring over them and enjoying all the fun pictures. It really makes it feel more homey for us. The testimony book is my favorite thing to show. What a treasure it is!

We have had several very busy days preparing for the visit of Elder and Sister Malm. They are here now. We picked them up from the airport on Saturday and brought them to the mission home. We had dinner and talked for about five hours. It was a very sweet experience to feel their love and approval for all that we have been doing. They are fully supportive of dads emphasis on using the Book of Mormon as a finding tool. We are beginning to see results from that. Last week we taught 243 lessons, when the average has been 150. We had 15 new investigators when the average has been 7. Our missionaries are relating wonderful experiences using it and are very excited about this approach.

We have mission leadership council all day Monday at the mission home. Then Tuesday we have about half of the mission in a zone conference at the chapel. Wednesday we will fly to Ufa with the Malms and then Thursday have a zone conference with the other half off the mission. The Malms Head home Friday to Moscow. We will stay to work with the missionaries in Ufa and attend church on Sunday before we fly home late Sunday night. I expect it will continue to be a wonderful experience to have the Malms here and that we will learn a lot

Although we are constantly busy,we are really enjoying this experience. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve The Lord and show our gratitude for the many blessings he has poured out upon us so plentifully

We love you all so much,
Hugs and kisses,
Mom
