Grateful

Mom and Dad, thanks for the post and the pictures!  I love getting updates from you.  I have people ask me every single week at church how you are doing.  Today it was president and sister Clayton and the Whatcotts.  Everyone is so thrilled to hear you are doing well and to have a tiny part in the amazing work you are doing there.  It may seem mundane and daily to you at times but it is very excited to people around here!  So send more details along that we can share and update people with!

I feel so grateful today and I want you all to know!  I love being here with you and having different experiences with my family.  We have been served so much by this family in the past 2 months.  From help with moving, babysitting, phone calls and kind expressions of love to us, to meals and support this past week when I got sick.

Amie passed this onto me the other day as she was watching all my kids and I was in the E.R.

"I can't believe I'm actually inviting my cousin to my birthday!"

And a direct quote passed on to me from Kathryn 2 weeks ago while they watched all our kids so we could go to Saint George for a couple days,

"This sleepover is so much fun, I don't miss my parents one bit!" - Tyler

I won't direct quote him but Chris has mentioned to me what great cooks Lauren and Camilla are after they prepared meals for our family.  Brooke watched kids so I could go to birthday lunch with Chris.  Camilla watched kids while we went to the temple.  Brooke has hosted kids for sleepovers and watched them while I went to visit Nana.  Amie had our kids for 24+ hours including overnight so Chris could take care of me this weekend.  Kathryn and Matt gave us the gift of a weekend getaway.  Daniel has done my sink full of dirty dishes multiple times.  Mom and Dad have supplied a wonderful place for our family to live and sent texts and made calls of support and love.  And I'm barely touching the surface!

Service is not convenient.  It usually requires some sort of sacrifice.  I know all the service you have given us is no exception.  I want you each to know how very grateful Chris and I are for all you have done for us.  I look forward to being on the other end of some service very soon.  :)

With gratitude and love!

Sarah
